I honestly expected more from this place. The welcome was fairly underwhelming: we were simply pointed towards the sunbeds, and I had to ask myself about towels and how the lunch arrangement worked. In the end, we had to figure most things out ourselves. The hotel itself also feels somewhat dated. The chair cushions looked worn out and some of the parasols were broken, which gave an unkempt impression. Unfortunately, during lunch there was also a very rude family whose children were throwing their entire lunch on the ground “for the birds,” while the parents were busy chatting and ignoring it. Of course, the hotel cannot always control other guests, but it certainly did not improve the overall experience. For this price, I expected a much higher standard, especially considering the hotel’s rating of 8.
